Product Description​
WisNode Tag is a compact LoRaWAN® GPS tracking device designed for asset tracking, field operations, outdoor activities, and location-based IoT applications. It integrates GNSS, an accelerometer, BLE, LoRaWAN connectivity, and a built-in rechargeable battery in a slim enclosure with rubber-style protection.
WisNode Tag runs TrackIT / LoRaWAN firmware and works with the TrackIT mobile app on iOS and Android for device setup, configuration, management, and location tracking.
WisNode Tag runs TrackIT / LoRaWAN firmware and is not compatible with the Meshtastic network. Do not flash WisMesh Tag firmware or follow WisMesh Tag guides for this product.
Work Modes​
In the TrackIT app, Work Mode defines how WisNode Tag communicates. The current firmware supports LoRaWAN mode. P2P mode is planned for a future release. For more information, refer to Work Modes.
When LoRaWAN mode is selected, you can choose a network server option based on the deployment scenario.

Battery Modes​
After selecting a work mode, choose a battery mode to define the device’s reporting behavior and power consumption strategy. For more information, refer to Battery Modes.
