WisGate is a category of products built by the RAK company for the IoT Industry. It is the backbone of the network where it offers a cost-efficient and wide range of gateway solutions for building LPWAN. These gateways act as an LPWAN base station with multiple backhaul connectivity options. Hence, they are split into two categories— indoor and outdoor gateways.
WisGate Edge is the RAK flagship line of commercial-grade gateways. Gateways from this product line are designed to work either indoor and outdoor, customizable in terms of the backhaul connectivity options, antenna type, and power provisioning.
RAK7240 has a built-in GPS module and LoRa Server. This gateway supports multiple backhaul connectivity options such as WiFi, LTE, and Ethernet with an available SD card slot to back up the gathered data. The enclosure is IP rated, dustproof and waterproof, and with a built-in surge protection.

RAK7249 is designed for outdoor use even in extreme conditions with an IP67 graded enclosure. It has a built-in GPS module and LoRa Server, and it supports multiple backhaul connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, LTE, and Ethernet. Moreover, RAK7249 is powered by PoE with options for battery, solar, or AC power supply.

RAK7258 is a full 8-channel gateway with a built-in LoRa Server for easy integration and deployment of applications. It supports multiple backhaul connectivity options such as Ethernet, WiFi, and Cellular. Moreover, this gateway has Line-of-Sight (LoS) ranges of up to 15 km, while for highly urbanized environments, it can cover more than 2 km.
