These gateways act as an LPWAN base station with multiple backhaul connectivity options. Hence, they are split into two categories— indoor and outdoor gateways.

WisGate Edge is the RAK flagship line of commercial-grade gateways. Gateways from this product line are designed to work either indoor and outdoor, customizable in terms of the backhaul connectivity options, antenna type, and power provisioning.

RAK7240V2 has a wide range of customization options for flexibility when deploying a solution. This gateway supports multiple backhaul connectivity options such as WiFi, LTE, and Ethernet with an available SD card slot to back up the gathered data.
