Product Description​

RAK19013 WisBlock LiPo Solar module is a power board that comprises a battery connector, a solar panel connector, a reset push button, a charger implemented that can recharge a plugged-in battery, a charging LED to show the status of charging, and a power connector which can connect with WisBlock Base board.

This board can be connected with the WisBlock Base board like RAK19010 through the power slot.

Prerequisites​

To use a RAK19013, you need at least a WisBlock Base Board with Power Slot to plug the module in. Furthermore, you need a WisBlock Core module to control the two user LEDs.

  • Make sure to fix the module with the screws to ensure a proper function.
  • On rechargeable batteries, only 3.7-4.2 V rechargeable Li-Ion batteries are supported. Do not use other types of rechargeable batteries with the system.
  • Only 5 V solar panels (up to 6 V) are supported. Do not use 12 V solar panels. It will destroy the charging unit and eventually other electronic parts.
