- The full features of the RAK10701-Plus Field Tester are compatible with the following LoRaWAN network servers: WisGateOS2 Built-in LNS, The Things Network, ChirpStack, and AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN. For other LNS options, only LinkCheck mode is supported.
- The WisGateOS2 Mapper Extension is required to access all the features of the RAK10701-Plus.
Product Description​
The RAK10701-Plus LoRaWAN Field Tester is an advanced, all-in-one solution for comprehensive indoor and outdoor LoRaWAN network analysis. This powerful device offers real-time insights for both uplink and downlink signal quality (RSSI and SNR), packet loss rates and distance information from gateways using its built-in GPS/GNSS receiver, making it an indispensable tool for network deployment and optimization.
Equipped with a touchscreen LCD and an intuitive user interface, the RAK10701-Plus operates independently, providing the convenience of easily tagging or labeling testing locations. The device also allows configuration of key parameters such as DR (Data Rate), frequency band, and power directly on the device, eliminating the need for external applications and enhancing on-site testing efficiency and flexibility.
Additionally, the RAK10701-Plus works with the WisGateOS2 Mapper Extension for backend analysis and supports CSV data export for easy documentation and analysis of results.

Prerequisites​
To use a RAK10701-Plus, you need the following:
- Active WisGate Edge LoRaWAN Gateway with WisGateOS2 and installed Mapper Extension.
- Must be in a coverage of a LoRaWAN gateway registered to a supported LoRaWAN network server.
- Register RAK10701-Plus on the LoRaWAN network server.
- Ensure RAK10701-Plus is sufficiently charged.
- RAK10701-Plus needs a clear view of the sky for GPS fix and distance calculation.
- Antenna must be properly attached on the RAK10701-Plus.
