WisLink is a category of products built by the RAK company for the IoT industry. Modules under this category are connectivity modules designed to be integrated into the existing hardware to provide the LPWAN connectivity capabilities. These include LoRaWAN and Nb-IoT devices with different form factors.

Connectivity modules work as LPWAN concentrator modules to modify a hardware platform into a fully functional LPWAN gateway. It comes in two varieties: Raspberry Pi HAT for easy integration and mPCIe form factor card for rapid integration. Hence, LPWAN modules are designed for commercial use and large-scale deployment.

RAK831 is a compact module that provides robust communication between an LPWAN gateway and several LPWAN end-nodes in a wide area. It needs a host system like Raspberry Pi or WisAP (OpenWRT based) or WisCam for proper operation. The host processor can be a PC or MCU that will be connected to RAK831 via USB or SPI. Hence, RAK831 has a wide variety of applications like Smart Metering, IoT, and Machine-to-Machine (M2M).

RAK833 comes in a compact size built with the mini-PCIe form factor that enables easy integration into an application board. It is compatible with the 3G/LTE modules of the mini-PCIe type. This module is for smart metering fixed networks.

RAK2245 Stamp is an ultra-compact module that has a built-in GPS chip. It comes with a mounted heat-sink that improves the thermal heat dissipation and overall performance of the device. The Stamp form factor feature enables easy integration into the system's mainboard.

RAK2245 Pi HAT offers complete compatibility with the Raspberry Pi 40-pin header for an easy LoRaWAN solution deployment. It provides a low data rate LoRa radio links in ultra-fast speed and can manage packets from remotely disperse endpoints. This module integrates GPS module and a heat sink for better thermal dissipation and overall device performance.
