WisLink is a category of products built by the RAK company for the IoT industry. Modules under this category are connectivity modules designed to be integrated into the existing hardware to provide the LPWAN connectivity capabilities. These include LoRaWAN and Nb-IoT devices with different form factors.

WisLink Modules are versatile connectivity solutions designed to integrate various communication technologies into IoT and networking applications. They enable seamless data transmission through existing wiring, cellular networks, or LPWAN infrastructure, providing reliable and scalable modules that serve as the core for gateways, routers, and end devices across diverse industrial and commercial environments.

RAK831 is a compact module that provides robust communication between an LPWAN gateway and several LPWAN end-nodes in a wide area. It needs a host system like Raspberry Pi or WisAP (OpenWRT based) or WisCam for proper operation. The host processor can be a PC or MCU that will be connected to RAK831 via USB or SPI. Hence, RAK831 has a wide variety of applications like Smart Metering, IoT, and Machine-to-Machine (M2M).

RAK833 comes in a compact size built with the mini-PCIe form factor that enables easy integration into an application board. It is compatible with the 3G/LTE modules of the mini-PCIe type. This module is for smart metering fixed networks.

RAK2011 WisLink Cellular BG96 Arduino Shield is a compact cellular communications module that supports Low-Power Wide-Area (LPWA) technology for networking Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices. It can simultaneously support 2G, 4G/LTE, NB-IoT, and GPS, with an additional feature of Voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) for high definition (HD) and uninterrupted voice calls.

RAK2013 is compatible with Raspberry Pi 3B+/4 edition specification. It offers a wide range of supported sensors such as temperatures, humidity, and a light sensor that allows easy sensor data transmission. Because of its integrated audio amp and codec, it is suitable for Voice over LTE (VoLTE) in carrier network scenarios where HD calls are a requirement.
