RAK7394 WisGate Developer CM4 Unboxing & Installation
This guide explains how to unpack, prepare, and install the RAK7394 WisGate Developer CM4 Gateway, including package contents, antenna connection, and power setup.

The RAK7394 package includes the following components:

Before powering on the gateway, prepare the required antennas.
Before powering the device, ensure that the LoRa, LTE (for the Cellular variant only), and GPS antennas are connected. Failing to attach the antennas may damage the boards.
The required antennas depend on the gateway variant:
- LoRa antenna
- GPS antenna
- LTE antenna (for Cellular variant only)
Power the Gateway
After connecting the antennas, power the gateway through the USB-C Power Supply slot.
If you are unsure which one of the two USB-C slots is for powering the gateway and which one is for booting, consult the Interfaces section of the gateway's datasheet
The RAK7394P WisGate Developer CM4 Gateway supports Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). You can use a PoE injector to power the gateway via an Ethernet cable.
After the gateway is powered on, continue with the Quick Start Guide to access the gateway and complete the initial setup.
