RAK9105U PowerLink - Remote Reboot Switch for LoRaWAN
Product Description
The RAK9105U PowerLink is a LoRaWAN®-enabled remote power controller designed to remotely manage the power supply of devices such as LoRaWAN gateways, LTE CPEs, Wi-Fi routers, and IP cameras, especially in remote or hard-to-reach deployment environments.
By installing the RAK9105U between the power source and the target device, you can remotely switch controllable outputs through LoRaWAN downlink commands. This allows connected devices to be power-cycled without requiring on-site maintenance.
The RAK9105U can be powered by either an external 9–24 VDC power source or RAK Battery Plus. When connected to RAK Battery Plus through the power and RS485 interface, the RAK9105U can also periodically read Battery Plus operating data and report it over LoRaWAN.

Usage Scenarios
RAK Battery Plus Solution
Recommended for remote or solar-powered deployments where the connected equipment requires both battery status monitoring and remote power control.
Custom LoRaWAN Setup
Recommended for deployments where an existing LoRaWAN Network Server and application platform are used for device monitoring, data processing, and remote power control.
How It Works
The RAK9105U is installed between the power source and the target device. It communicates with a LoRaWAN Network Server to report device data and receive downlink commands for remote power control.
When used with RAK Battery Plus, the RAK9105U can also read battery operating data through RS485 and report it over LoRaWAN.
